Vieux Carré
 
 
Ingredients
  • 1 oz rye whiskey
  • 1 oz cognac
  • 1 oz sweet vermouth
  • ¼ oz benedictine
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 2 dashes Peychaud's bitters
  • lemon twist for garnish
Instructions
  1. Chill a cocktail glass.
  2. In a mixing glass, add ice and all ingredients.
  3. Stir to thoroughly chill.
  4. Strain into chilled glass and garnish with a lemon twist.
