Vieux Carré
- 1 oz rye whiskey
- 1 oz cognac
- 1 oz sweet vermouth
- ¼ oz benedictine
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
- 2 dashes Peychaud's bitters
- lemon twist for garnish
- Chill a cocktail glass.
- In a mixing glass, add ice and all ingredients.
- Stir to thoroughly chill.
- Strain into chilled glass and garnish with a lemon twist.
