Death in the Afternoon
- 1½ oz absinthe
- 4½ oz champagne or sparkling wine
- Chill a champagne flute.
- Add absinthe to the flute.
- Top with champagne or sparkling wine.
One recipe I read stated to reverse the order to allow the absinthe to float through the champagne/sparkling wine for a fabulous effect.
