Blood Orange Margarita
- 1½ oz tequila
- ¾ oz Grand Imperial or Gran Marnier
- ½ oz Campari or Peychaud's Aperitivo
- ¾ oz blood orange juice
- ¾ oz lime juice
- ¼ oz simple syrup
- half wheel of blood orange for garnish
- Chill a rocks glass, salt the rim if desired.
- In a shaker, combine the tequila, Grand Imperial, Campari or Peychaud's Aperitivo, the juices, and simple syrup.
- Add ice and shake until thoroughly combined and chilled, 20 to 30 seconds.
- Strain into the chilled rocks glass and garnish with the half wheel of blood orange.
