A La Louisiane
- 2 oz rye whiskey
- ¾ oz sweet vermouth
- ½ oz Benedictine
- 3 dashes absinthe
- 3 dashes Peychaud's bitters
- cherry for garnish
- Chill a cocktail glass.
- In a mixing glass or shaker, add ice, whiskey, vermouth, Benedictine, absinthe, and bitters.
- Stir to chill thoroughly, approximately 30 seconds.
- Strain into a coupe or martini glass.
- Garnish with a cherry.
