Menu for the 3rd Week of October

I hope you have enjoyed following along with the dinner picture posts on Instagram form the past two weeks. Keeping the trend going, here is the menu for the coming week. This week I am re-using many previously posted recipes like I have in each of the prior weeks. Again, the goal is to enjoy a variety of delicious meals while minimizing waste. Last week was fun since I ended up swapping a few meals around during the week to accommodate my schedule. It will be interesting to see how this coming week pans out. Cherry Almond Scones

Here in the greater Seattle-Tacoma area, everyone loves the scones at the Western Washington Fair. Or at least that is what I hear… because I have never had a ‘Fair Scone’. To be honest, I wasn’t interested in eating what I thought were dry, dusty, failed biscuits. But one trip to Cannon Beach Oregon and a stay at the Stephanie Inn many years ago changed all that. Each morning, there were scones available for breakfast and my companion asked if I wanted one.
