Menu for the 4th Week of November

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!  Of course, this week’s menu will include Thanksgiving and I am getting a treat. Two of my brothers are coming over and we will be preparing a feast. Both of my brother’s have serious kitchen skills so this dinner will be nothing short of amazing. I nicknamed my younger brother ‘Iron Chef’ many years ago based on his fearlessness in preparing new dishes. He will deep fry the turkey after it has had a nice long soak in his top secret brine. Last year’s turkey was incredible and I am sure this year’s will be also. My other brother will bring dessert; a family favorite and staple of Thanksgiving, pumpkin pie, that never fails to please. So now you know what is planned for Thursday, let’s check out the rest of the week!

Sunday – Alcatra (cooked sous vide with red wine)

This dish happens to be one of the most popular recipe posts and I have been wanting to experiment by cooking it sous vide. Did it work? Check my Facebook and Instagram (@cooking_4_one) pages for results!

Monday – Peri Peri Prawns, Pearl Couscous, and Shaved Brussels Sprouts

Here is another test recipe that has my mouth watering.

Tuesday – Charity event

No cooking for me tonight!

Wednesday – Spaghetti and Meatballs

I just have to enjoy pasta once a week. When it looks like this, can you blame me?

Thursday – Deep Fried Turkey with Cranberry Sauce, Bread Stuffing, Rice Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, and Togarishi Green Beans

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Friday – Bulgogi Rouladen

Because sometimes you just have to enjoy a German-Korean fusion meal!

Saturday – Yellow Curry Chicken

When you just need comfort food on a mid-Fall Saturday while watching the Apple Cup; I think this dish will fit the bill nicely!

As we enter the holidays, I want to thank all the readers and followers for their support. Stay tuned as I have more recipes and a few tricks coming up before the end of the year!
